Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Pranir Labs Private Limited (“Pranir Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated in India, collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit www.pranirlabs.com (the “Site”) or the brand pages we operate at /lucenci and /sillygoose.
We comply with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), as applicable.
2. Information we collect
The Site is currently informational only — we do not sell products, host user accounts, or run contact forms on the Site. The information we receive is limited to:
- Server logs: Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps, automatically records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer URL, timestamp, requested path, response status) for the purposes of security, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics.
- Information you choose to send us by email: If you write to hello@pranirlabs.com or customercare@pranirlabs.com, we receive the contents of your message and any information you include (such as your name and email address). We use this information only to respond to your enquiry.
- Marketing measurement data: When you visit the Site, the Meta Pixel (described in section 3) sends information about your visit to Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Sillygoose brand pages are intended for parents and guardians, not children.
3. Cookies, pixels, and tracking
We use the Meta Pixel on this Site, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (together, “Meta”). The Meta Pixel is loaded only after you give consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer of any page. If you reject (or have not yet responded to) the banner, the Meta Pixel is not loaded and no pixel data is sent to Meta.
When you visit a page that contains the Meta Pixel after giving consent, the following information is sent to Meta:
- The page you visited and the time of the visit.
- Your IP address, browser type, operating system, and other technical metadata.
- A pseudonymous cookie identifier set in your browser (for example,
_fbp). - If you are signed in to Facebook or Instagram on the same device, an identifier that allows Meta to match the visit to your Facebook or Instagram account.
We use this information to measure how visitors find and use the Site, to understand the performance of our marketing, and to show advertisements to people who have previously visited the Site (re-marketing) on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta properties. Meta processes Meta Pixel data as a separate controller for its own purposes as described in Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Your choices:
- Manage Meta’s ad targeting in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
- Block third-party cookies in your browser settings, or use browser-level tracking-protection features.
- Use private/incognito browsing to limit the persistence of pixel cookies.
Your browser may also receive technical cookies set by Microsoft Azure for content delivery and basic security; these are essential to serving the Site and do not track you across other websites.
4. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- To respond to messages you send us at hello@pranirlabs.com.
- To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
5. Who can see your information
Limited access is granted to:
- Our service providers who help us operate the Site, currently: Microsoft Azure (hosting and security logs) and Microsoft 365 (email delivery for our company addresses). These providers process data on our behalf under their respective contractual and privacy terms.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which receive Meta Pixel event data as described in section 3. Meta processes this data as a separate controller for its own advertising and analytics purposes.
- Authorised personnel of Pranir Labs who need the information to perform their duties.
- Government or regulatory authorities when required by law.
6. International transfers
Our hosting provider and Meta may process Site traffic at data centres outside India, including in the United States, the European Union (Ireland), and other jurisdictions where they operate infrastructure. Where this occurs, the transfer is made under each provider’s standard contractual safeguards.
7. Retention
Server logs are retained for the period set by our hosting provider (typically up to 90 days) and email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and meet our record-keeping obligations.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request erasure of your personal information, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDPA.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pranirlabs.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — HTTPS encryption in transit, hardened cloud infrastructure, and access controls — to protect information against accidental or unlawful loss, access, or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Links to other sites
The Site may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. Please read their privacy policies before sharing any personal information with them.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site for a reasonable period.
